Oliver / Christmas Concerts
As some of you may already be aware, due to a number of unforeseen circumstances, it has now been confirmed that the Oliver Musical will be postponed from December to the week commencing 20th March 2017.
There will also be full day rehearsals on Saturday 11th March and Friday 17th March where all cast and band members will be required to rehearse. Afterschool rehearsals will continue running as normal, on a Monday and Wednesday afterschool from 3.30-5.30pm.
As a result of the above, it has also been decided that there will now be a Christmas Concert this year, for one night only, on Thursday 15th December, starting at 7.30pm.
The music department will continue to run Oliver music rehearsals at lunchtimes and afterschool, as well as additional lunchtime rehearsals for the ensembles (Swing Band, School Choir, Senior Girls’ Choir and Concert Band), who will be performing in the Christmas Concert.
There will be full day rehearsals for the concert on Friday 9th and Monday 12th December, and as we only have 3 weeks until 15th December, your cooperation at this time, as always, is greatly appreciated.
